Question: Why do I need help in contacting colleges?  Don’t they come to tournaments where they can see me play?

Answer: It is impossible to see everyone.  Once I am contacted and am aware that you are out there, I will try my best to come and see you play.  However, it is impossible to attend every tournament in the country.  Remember, volleyball is played all over the country.

Question: Why use The Way Volleyball Club Recruiting Service?  There are a number of recruiting services around that can help me.

Answer: True.  Most of these services can make a video of you and even send it to a coach.  Very few, if any, of these services know your sport like we do.  Remember, we can talk the talk because we have been there.  We also provide a level of service that is unique in our industry and continue working with you to make you a better volleyball athlete throughout your tenure with us.

Question: How do I know how to pick a school to target?

Answer: That is between you and your parents.  We are going to give you as much information about your choices as humanly possible.  We are also going to be candid with you to make sure that you are making a choice that is realistic.

Question: The whole recruiting process is intimidating.  How do I overcome this intimidation?

Answer: That is our job.  You will be coached on what to say, what to expect, and what you are heading into.

Question: How do I know I have the ability to play at the next level?

Answer: Again, this is our job.  We are going to demonstrate your strengths and weaknesses.  We are going to work on your weakness.  As for an accurate assessment of the possibly of you playing at the next level, that is what we do.

Question: When do I start with The Way Volleyball Club Recruiting Service?

Answer: Before your junior year in high school, if possible.

Question: What if I am past my junior year in high school?

Answer: So many young athletes “fall through the cracks” it’s amazing.  We have worked with many athletes who simply did not know where to go or what to do.  Given eligibility, it is never to late to start with The Way Volleyball Club Recruiting Service.

Question: What about NCAA and NAIA eligibility requirements?

Answer: We provide you and your family with all information related to college eligibility requirements as well as financial aide dates and information.  When this information changes, you are notified.

Question: How do colleges give scholarships?

Answer: Each college and level or division is different. NCAA Division I requirements are different than Division II.  Both these Divisions are different than Division III, and all these are different than NAIA.  Many schools offer scholarships for athletes.  Almost all offer academic scholarships.  Again, it is our job to deliver information related to scholarships to you.  Our job is to grab as much aide as possible for you so you don’t begin your life in debt from student loans and alleviate financial stress from your family related to your education.

Question: How do I know I am picking the right school?

Answer: Again, this is up to you and your family.  There are so many variables involved with going to school as a student athlete it is impossible to demonstrate here.  Remember, we have been on both sides, we are going to help you with your decision to ensure you are making the right one.
